„How To Cook Everything” klingt im ersten Moment nicht nach dem Titel für ein Musikalbum. Die zweite Platte von Hello Emerson wurde allerdings tatsächlich nach einem gleichnamigen Kochbuch benannt.
Liegt es an der opulent Ausstattung aus Chor, einem Streichquartett, Alt- und Tenor-Saxophone, Klarinetten, Pedal Steel Guitar und vielem mehr? Vielleicht.

Doch haben wir das kommende Album „How To Cook Everything” natürlich genauer unter die Lupe genommen. Und was soll man dazu schreiben? Einfach fantastischer Sound mit glasklaren zueinander fein abgegrenzten Instrumenten. Bestes Futter für echte High-End Freunde. Getreu dem Titel der Platte kommt, wie eingangs erwähnt, ein buntes Potpourri zum Einsatz. Intimer amerikanischer Folk und Blues, den Samuel Emerson Bodarys sonore Stimme nicht eindringlicher begleiten könnte. Die verschiedenen positiven Statements vorab wurden durch dieses beeindruckende Album noch einmal bestätigt. Quod erat demonstrandum.
